Easy air fryer sausages

Cooking sausages in the air fryer is a simple, mess free option for busy mid-week dinners. Air fried sausages can be served whole, or chopped and added to soups, stews, curries or used as a pizza topping.

Notes

In the US, you may find sausages called link sausages or sausage links.
If you're using the Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air Fryer I recommend using the broiling tray for this recipe for an extra crispy result.
Use a meat thermometer to check the sausages are cooked to 71°C (160°F) for beef and pork and 74°C (165°F) for chicken.
Store left over sausages in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Reheat thoroughly prior to serving.
Every air fryer model is a little different - use the times listed as a starting point and increase or decrease the time to suit your air fryer. The times listed are for cold sausages, defrosted in the refrigerator.
